Harbour Place organised “The Great Grimsby Sleep Out” Friday 16th February as a fund raising event .Volunteers were asked to spend the night “sleeping rough”in Freshney Shopping Centre car park. One of our members was in that group.
Gary ,who was sponsored by members of the club joined 81 other volunteers equiped with his sleeping bag,and mat he spent the night with a wooden pallet for a bed. In total they raised £16K for Harbour Place, and Gary raised £700 .Well done .
Rather him than me sleeping outside in a cold draughty car park!!!
