This year we had 10 men and 4 Ladies competing for the golf trophies at Grimsby Golf Club.  The weather was damp but no wind, with the course in fine condition but rough to be avoided.

Barbara Falconer won the ladies trophy with 27 points and Julia Roy was runner up.

In a very close contest with a good score of 34 points, and just recovered from injury  the winner of the mens trophy was Som Roy. Michael Carr was runner up with 33 and Stuart Falconer in third place with 32

In the evening 34 members and partners enjoyed an excellent meal in the clubhouse prior to the presentations of the golf and bowls trophies by our President.

This year due to a number of bowlers taking holidays in September, the bowling competition was held in August. This attracted 13 men and 8 ladies

Margaret Furness won the ladies trophy with Pauline Dunn runner up.

Tony Powell was the mens champion with Dennis Dunn runner up.

The bowlers enjoyed good weather and a fish and chip supper after play.
