It is a social club with a purpose - a service club having the motto 'service above self' and a strong emphasis on charity fundraising
The Grimsby Club was formed 1930 by the Rotary Club of Hull. It gained its charter in 1931 and currently has around 58 members.
Friendly, relaxed, warm atmosphere. We also enjoy social events such as Bridge, Golf, Snooker, Clay pigeon shooting, an annual walking weekend, ladies Coffee mornings and theatre outings.
We enjoy social networking as well as business networking and Fellowship.
We also make visits places of local interest (Community/Vocational) e.g. Novartis, Heat and Power plant, Waddington R.A.F base,Singleton Birch.

In the past - Children's Hospice; N.S.P.C.C., Wish Upon A Star, Doorstep, FLAG, Linkage Trust, Immingham 2100 .
Funds are raised through annual events such as the Charity Am/Am golf competition, a re-entry clay pigeon shoot, Supermarket collections and in the past the Grimsby Dock Tower climb and abseil.
