Robin Mason presented a banner to Phillip Lumley
At the Wednesday lunch on 15th January the Immediate past District Governor Robin Mason (Rotary Club of Humberside ) visited the club. The purpose of the visit was to present banners to past President Mike Carr.
Each year we donate money to Rotary Foundation.During Mike's year we contributed 100$ (which is the target)for each member and so they become known as "sustaining members".Philip Lumley is the convenor of Rotary Foundation and so the banners were presened to him.
There were two banners
A 100% Sustaining Member Club and
a 100% Member participation
Rotary Foundation is the Rotary Charity.
