A further report on this competition.
The "Plate Competition".
As part of the Annual Knockout Golf competition one of the trophies is a plate ,somewhat decorative but a coveted trophy nevertheless.However,this has been replaced by a cup donated by John Lavin. It had belonged to his father and was a former horticultural trophy!
The second place in the competition was down to two people,Derek Andrews and Chris Oldrige.It was a closely fought event and had not been settled by the 18th hole!The next step was a play off on the 19th.
This was eventually won by Derek. Congratulations.
