A report on our annual walking weekend at Ravenscar,North Yorkshire.
30.04.12 WALKING WEEKEND RAVENSCAR NORTH YORKSHIRE
This year our annual walking weekend was based at the Raven Hall Country House Hotel ,Ravenscar,North Yorkshire.The walk and hotel had been arranged by Bill and Felicity Goodwin and this was our 21st walking weekend.
Murdo did not join us on the walk and was still recovering from his dreadful car crash. Thank goodness they were,apart from Sheanac having a broken rib,unharmed.
The weekend format was the same as before with an evening dinner on Friday Night.Those members of the party who wanted to go on the walk assembled outside the hotel at 9 30 am for group photographs and a final briefing.The morning walk followed the old railway bed from Ravenscar to Robin Hood
