A talk by John Dixon
Today’s speaker was John Dixon (a long standing member of the club,)and the subject was his “Job Talk”,with a difference. (All people who join the club have to give a job talk to the club).
John is a member of Dixons Paper Manufacturing family ,which was established in 1871 .A copy of its,history was put on each table .
The talk ranged from his birth, education, work experience (travelling to the USA to look at other paper manufacturers),working for the company and other businesses . A very interesting talk.
