The Dronfield Community Lottery is 8 years old - Setember 2024

This lottery supports the Rotary Club of Dronfield's Charity Funds specifically projects in S18- and since it's launch has distributed £30,000 to community projects , all benifiting projects and people in need of help in S18

Recipients of that support include:

      During the Covid lockdown we have supported our local     FoodBank The Oaks (Restore) Food Bank. Through R4FB (Rotary for FoodBanks we have donated over £6.000 to support local people.

As the cost of living crisis deepens and more families are struggling we have continued to support our Foodbank.

         Making a grant to our Community First    Responders to purchase essential equipment 

          Purchasing a portable suction machine for advanced First Responder use

         Helping a local family by providing flooring and a new cooker

    

  • Dronfield in Bloom- Plants for Schools, 5 year sponsorship for planting the towns ladles
  • Holmesdale Infants School - A Forest Classroom and a Storytellers Chair
  • Gorsey Brigg Primary School - Books for a new School and Community Library
  • William Levick outdoor classroom
  • Forest classrooms for local schools
  • Funded quiet areas in local schools
  • Grants to individuals
