Shoe Aid - Poverty at home

Rotarians Alan Hepworth and Tony Bethell delivered donated new shoes to the Show Aid Warehouse in Nottingham.

A local childrens shoe shop had a major flood in July 2020. After sorting everything out with their insurers they donated all the useable shoes to our Club. We contacted Lee Todd of Shoe Aid Uk and delivered two very full cars to their Nottingham warehouse in September 2020.

These shoes will be sorted by the volunteers at Shoe Aid and distributed to children who are in desperate need of a pair of shoes to go to school in.

Poverty is all around us and our Club put local people at the forefront of all we do whilst always responding to national and international disasters.
