What’s Rotary about? – the people, the possibilities, the pride.
What’s Rotary about? – the people.
Developing the right friendship networks for you is one of the most important decisions you will make in life and the Derby South Rotary option is proven and built on the foundations of Community Service, Friendship, Diversity, Integrity and Leadership.
Rotary is a global network of 1.4 million neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
Rotary is a non-political, non-religious organisation that is open to all ethnicities and as a Rotarian you will meet people from a wide range of backgrounds.
What’s Rotary about? – the possibilities.
It starts with the Derby South Rotary’s direct involvement with Sailability, Royal British Legion, Children’s Air Ambulance, The Rotary Foundation, Kid’s League Kenya and the Derbyshire Children’s Holiday Home. Then there is the opportunity to help raise funds for the other local charities we support and to propose new projects.
Rotary International activities you may want to consider include: Rotakids for 7–12 year-olds, Interact Clubs for 12-18 year-olds, Rotaract Clubs for 18-30 year-olds, bespoke Friendship Exchange programmes, Youth Leadership awards, Fellowships, Action Groups and too many more to list here.
What’s Rotary about? – the pride.
Helping to realise the Rotary Vision of a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves, creates a pride that only your participation enables you to experience.
