Club Meeting

At the meeting not only were we entertained by the local author, Hugh Shankland talking about the arrival of the Italians in the North East of England but we also welcomed two new members to the Rotary Club of Crook.

President MariaLuisa presented John Phelan and Chris Hardy with their Rotary pins after their attendance at the club over a number of weeks.

John and Chris came to the club as a result of being invited to a Prospective Members night in March.  They continued to show an interest in joining Rotary by attending a number of club meetings where they were able to meet members and observe how the club works.  Obviously they liked what they saw!
