Club Charter night - our 90th!

Celebrating our 90th birthday party!
Last night was Burton Rotary Club’s 90th anniversary, or Charter celebration.
What a brilliant night it was. President Peter Groves opened the show in his inimitable way and led the evening into quite a spectacular event.
The fantastic blues, jazz and funk band Blue John provided a mix of amazing tunes, allowing the able and brave to grace the dance floor.
Burton Rotarian Graham Dean received a Paul Harris Fellowship award for his tireless efforts afforded to our club over many years.
Our very own Mayor Kim Smith came with her consort James and I’m sure they enjoyed themselves, they both assisted the magician with his trickery.
We had visits from Rotary clubs far and wide, along with many invited guests.
