RIP Jack Sheldon
Burton upon Trent mourns the passing to higher service of Jack Sheldon
JACK SHELDON PP PHF
Jack was a member of this Rotary Club since February 2003, and was elected as President from 2010 -11. He was awarded a PHF in 2015.
Jack was a larger than life character – a kind and generous giant whose shoulders many of us stood on through the years, and who contributed so much to so many.
A much loved husband to Lynda, father to Mark and Jon, Grandad to Evelyn, Thomas, Sophia, Keira and Clodagh, brother to Richard, Joy and Julia, and a great friend to many - the fond memories we all have are countless.
He loved social occasions, so there was a celebration of his life - ‘funeral attire’ was not required, and ‘colour’, and of course a bow tie, were most welcome!
There was a wake at Burton Albion FC, Pirelli Stadium,
Jack wasn’t a fan of flowers, but he definitely liked to raise money for good causes, so donations were made in his memory to 3 charities.

Many thanks for all of your friendship, love and support over the years - I know that our Dad really valued it, as does our Mum.

Santa is visited the Albion in Shobnall Road Burton and enjoyed meeting local children and collected wish lists for Christmas Eve.
