RIP Jenny Gray

PP Jenny Gray

Jenny Gray was the Club's first Lady President in 2013. She was honoured by the visit of Nan McCreadie, the first Lady President of Rotary GB&I, to the National Football tournament at St Georges Park. She compiled and sold a Favourite Recipes book which was sold at the District Conference, including a copy to Michael Portillo, and sold out raising £4,265 for Rotary charity donations. She was an enthusiastic participant at the Just Us concert that year. The Club won the District Youth Trophy and was awarded the Best Club in the District in her year. Jenny joined Rotary after organising a Spring Flower Festival at Catton Hall in 2005. This was attended by 1,800 people and made a profit of £10,000 towards a project to support the Cancer Ward at Burton Hospital.
