President Andy recently had the pleasure of presenting a cheque from Burton Rotary for £3000 to the Breast Cancer Screening Clinic at Burton on Trent Hospital. This generous donation helped fund the purchase of a much-needed Tattoo Machine, ensuring that the clinic can continue to provide vital services to those in need.
The President and the Rotarian's present got a first hand demonstration of the incredible Tattoo machine and heard heart warming stories about its significance for patients, both physically and mentally. The staff at the clinic couldn't be more grateful for this incredibly generous donation. It's moments like these that truly show the power of Rotary and its commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
Joining President Andy were Andrew Lofts and Mohammed Haroon from Burton Rotary, with the two operators of the new machine Karen Ives-Smith and Lisa Rose, who were all delighted to be part of this important initiative.
