Some projects are expensive: for our biggest project ever, the funding of a haematology ward for outpatients at the Queens Hospital in Burton in 2005 - 6, we raised £85,000. Sometimes it is just the idea and initiative that matter. Larger projects often involve working together with Rotary Foundation and clubs abroad.

Currently we are involved with the Carers+ Café and improvements to *Burton railway station, both of which we initiated. Also with Burton Albion Community Trusts Peace project, and a Schools Project, ‘Engage for Change - Rotary Junior Champions’, which has so far been delivered in 5 local primary schools.
