President Ruth inducted Gavin Sutherland as a member of the Club
Gavin says:
I joined the Rotary Club as a result of meeting with Jamie Winstone at one of The Rolleston Engineering and Transport Society meetings. Through this connection I became keen to join the Club and to contribute more actively to the local community.
I began my railway career on 21st April 1980 and retired after 46 years on 26th May 2026. With more than 25 years’ experience in Senior Leadership roles, With extensive multi-disciplinary project experience, including building stations, depots and plain line track projects. Excelling at creating and leading high performance teams to deliver projects safely on time and on budget. Across England, Australia and Europe.
I'm married to Patricia and have a son and daughter, with three grandsons.
My interests include walking our dog Barney and gardening.
