Supporting availability of books for children aged between 3 & 11

The Rotary Club of Burton upon Trent have taken part in Rotary’s exciting new initiative to spark children’s love of reading in the National Year of Reading.
Rotary want children to select a free pre-loved book of their own to take home and keep and share with their family and friends.
With the brilliant support of local businesses, clubs, members and friends we collected over 1500 books which were given to 5 schools in June. A member of the Club visited each school when the children are able to choose their book.
We don’t want it to end, so please collect books for children between the ages of 3 and 11 and we’ll donate them to more schools on World Book Day 2027.
