Fantastic result from a great night and £3,500 raised for charities.

The charity auction l was a huge success, with 71 attending and enjoying a fine evening with our very amusing auctioneer providing the entertainment and relieving us of our earnings/pensions/subsidies.
The meal provided by Sandra Bishop Occasions was of the usual high standard and the wine flowed freely during the night, perhaps loosening wallets along with Robert’s efforts
There are a lot of calculations still to be done particularly regarding the bar surplus but early indications are that we will have cleared £3,000+, with luck we will be closer to £4,000 than £3,000.Thank members of the club for all their support, organising, attending, persuading businesses to support us and the very generous donations and bids made by members, partners and friends. This was truly a full club event, without all your support it would not have been such a success.
