The delivery of 70 Christmas Hampers to those, both young and old, in need this Christmas time has been made by Brigg Rotarians doing their bit to serve the local community and assist those who are experiencing various forms of hardship.
The generosity of local businesses in sponsoring the purchase of food items and donating produce has been magnificent; they are the real stars of the show and demonstrate how members of the Business Partnership can support their community and customers.
Principal sponsors this year have been: NISA–Dents of Brigg; TESCO; Lidl: Peacock & Binnington; RBM Agricultural; DDM Agriculture; Brown & Co.; Farmstar; Hetts Johnson Whiting Solicitors; Mason Baggott Garton; G Broughton & Sons; Monument Garage; Climatise and Petticoats of Brigg
There was a great atmosphere in The Nelthorpe Arms annex. as the process of packing was completed without a hitch and the ladies of Inner Wheel added the decorative finishing touches.
Festive transport was then on hand to make the deliveries ~ see the picture.
A great job and special thanks go to Robert Horner, Chris Darlington, Ambrose Fowler and all the packers, dressers and deliverers. Well done, you will have brightened 70 Christmases.
