Club Handover to the officers for 2015-16
Club Handover to the 2015-16 officials for the final year of Brigg RC in District 1270 was a rather unusual format for ‘the best club in the district’.
President, Angela, is making her post-operative recovery very slowly and we all wish her a speedy return to her usual vitality. Proceedings were conducted in her absence, not by the immediate past president, Linda, who was unavailable or PP Tony but by PP Martin Robinson.
Secretary, Michael, was also recovering from a second spell in hospital, so past secretary, Steve Hodsman, took over. We hope to see Michael back to normal very soon.
Thank goodness, we have such able members who can slot into their previous roles and do a splendid job.
The evening was a very pleasant occasion conducted with all due ceremony and topped by the award of a Paul Harris Fellowship to PP Lewis Strange (recorded on a separate page). Good food, fellowship and a sprinkling of fun round off last Rotary year and begin 2015-16 in style.
