District Conference 2014

Members attending the District Conference at an evening meal on the Friday and then celebrating with pre Conference drinks before the evening Meal and Ball on Saturday
A small but very select band of merry Brigg Rotarians attended the annual conference this year. After a few years having been held at a variety of venues around the district absence the conference returned to Scarborough.
Club President Angela was accompanied by Peter, PP Linda and Tony, PP Arthur and Margaret, PE Nick and Emma and Rotarian Julie. Most of us stayed at the Crown Spa, a lovely hotel on the cliff top affording wonderful views across Scarborough and the sea.
On the Friday night, we had decided to eat at a restaurant recommended by PP Arthur. After a few nibbles and a little bubbly, we headed down the hill to the restaurant. This was an excellent choice and we all enjoyed a terrific meal. The meal at the conference centre that evening was reported to be a rather insipid shepherd
