Young Musician Competition

The 2017 District Final of the Young Musician Competition was held at Wrekin College, Centenary Theatre.  The standard of performance was exceptionally high making the adjudicator's task even more difficult.

The Winners were:  Solo Singer, Annabel Rockett from Bridgnorth and Solo Instrumentalist, Tom Hall percussionist from Madeley in Telford.  They were both sponsored by the Rotary Club of Ironbridge.

Annabel and Tom will go forward to the Regional Final which is on Saturday 26th March at Wrekin College, Centenary theatre starting at 2pm.

Singer, Neha Patnaik has been sucessful in the local competition of the 2018 competition held at the Cosy Hall in Newport on 3rd February.  She will now go forward and compete at the District Final on Sunday 11th March 2018 at the Wolverhampton Music Hub.  The competition will start at 3pm and will give the opportunity to listen to some outstanding young performers.
