Westbury Mayoral Civic Awards Evening

Members of the Rotary Club of Westbury, and the Inner Wheel, were invited to attend the Westbury Mayoral Civic Awards ceremony in the Laverton Hall, Westbury.

The evening celebrates local clubs, organisations, charities and individuals who make an impact on the local community.

The evening was hosted by the Mayor, Mike Sutton and his wife Pauline.

There was an excellent meal provided by a local firm DeMaineArtisan.

The Mayor spoke on how everyone present brings something the community and how we all benefit in so many diverse ways.

There was a special award for our President Elect, Sue Ezra, who received a special Mayor’s Civic award for her continued work in running the Grassacres community lunches every Thursday in the Grassacres Community Hall. The award was shared with Christine who also runs the weekly event.
