Members of Westbury Rotary Club helped the Rector, wardens and volunteers in stewarding the Open Day recently.

Members of Westbury Rotary Club helped the Rector, wardens and volunteers in stewarding the Open Day recently.

We manned the Tower, Book stall and refreshments in the church.

The aim was to have the tower open for visitors but due to inclement weather the tower was deemed unsafe for the public. The bell room, a decent hike up the steep stairway, was open though. Visitors could view the bell chamber and watch the mechanism for the bells operate every quarter hour.

The sum of £500 was raised for the church.

Beth, the church warden expressed much gratitude to Westbury Rotary for assisting on the day.
