International and Foundation

Our Plans for July 2024 - June 2025

International:

we are responsible for visits by and to clubs abroad (RIFE).

Twinning with clubs abroad. Vire visit June 25. Friendship with other clubs.

International projects currently WASH (Water Sanitation and Hygiene).

The committee would like to continue to support a Nepal project in the coming year. There is a visit in November. 3 Rotarians Portland club & 3 Poundbury.

Response to international disasters.

Fundraising for our international projects.

Support for other activities e.g. Water Survival Box packing

Involvement with global grants as International sponsor. (Dhulikhel, Vire) Also District grants

Walks

Foundation

Is Rotary’s own charity and donations are made to the Rotary Foundation.

Hold events to raise money for Foundation – Foundation Feeds.

Increase awareness of TRF both in the Club and the community,

End Polio campaign.

Club duties:

Arrange speakers, social events, visits and fundraisers

First month is August then repeated very three months November, February, and May.
