Meal at Mr Miles - High Street

12 members and three guests met up at Mr Miles in the High Street. There was opportunity for socially distanced chatter and a drink before we sat down (again in accordance with government guidance) to a delicious 2 course meal.

The ball draw was won by David Watkins, wine only as not present, so another rollover.

Richard Lees summed up the evening: “It was so good to see friends and have a meal with fellow Rotarians! A good meal, good company, it beats all the virtual meetings!! Here’s to the next time.”

The next meeting is a Breakfast meeting on 9th September at 7 45am, again at Colin’s, names to Lauren please.

Meeting by Zoom on 14th September at 7 30pm, when we will be given a talk by Dr Chi from Oregon State University on the global effects of Covid-19.
