Please find below the Itinerary for the above visit plus the Holcombe Inn Pre-Order Menu. We have 17 French visitors arriving and together with hosts have a group totalling 32 people.
ITINERARY FOR FRENCH VISIT – 4TH TO 6TH APRIL 2025
Friday, 4th April:
Flight arrives 2.50pm at Bristol.
Evening – 7.00pm - The Redan.
Buffet to be provided. Cost £ pp - TBC
Saturday, 5th April:
Breakfast with hosts.
Morning – 11.00am: Visit to The Newt, Bruton including lunch.
£20pp for entrance and cider tour. Lunch is not included in the price. Lunch in the Garden Café – main course prices range from £17-£22. Starters/Puddings/Drinks Extra
Evening – 6.30pm arrival to be seated at 7.00pm: Dinner at Holcombe Inn.
£50pp – 3 course meal including canapes. Drinks not included in price. Pre-order meals are required by 20th March.
Evening Entertainment - Optional: Honky Tonks at Tuckers Grave.
Free entry.
Sunday, 6th April:
Breakfast with hosts.
Morning – 10.30am: Visit to Radstock Museum.
£10pp (coffee/tea to be provided). If hosts do not wish to have a tour of museum the museum’s café will be open and coffee/tea will be available to buy.
Sunday lunch – 1.30pm: The Litton.
Sunday Lunch = Roast £18pp, Beef Roast £20pp, Vegetarian = £18pp

Flight Departs at 7.15pm, need to be at Bristol Airport by 5.15pm.

Day Boat Fish, pernod & fennel top cream sauce, spinach
Pan fried Chicken, Old Winchester sauce, Wye valley asparagus
Creedy carver duck breast, pickled red cabbage puree, blood orange
Miso glazed aubergine, crispy garden vegetables, toasted sesame seeds – vegan

Dark chocolate & vanilla mousse, garden berry sorbet, honeycomb – Vegan

Local Somerset cheese, local honey & crackers
All members are welcome to join any of the events above with exception of the Sunday morning visit to the Radstock Museum.
Pre-order of meals is not required for the buffet at the Redan, lunch at the Newt or Sunday lunch at The Litton. Please could you reply to this email as soon as possible, if you are interested in the following:
1) The Redan evening , stating if you wish to partake of the buffet.
2) Visit to the Newt, stating if you wish to have lunch. 36 places have been booked but if more people wish to have lunch The Newt will be contacted to confirm if they can accommodate more people.
3) Evening dinner at The Holcombe Inn. Please note you need to Pre-Order your choice of food from the above menu by 20th March so, therefore, please could you inform me of your choices as soon as possible.
4) Honky Tonks at Tuckers Grave.
5) Sunday lunch at The Litton. Pre-order is not required, however, the restaurant has been booked for 36 people but if more than four people wish to join our guests and hosts, then we will confirm with the Litton if this is possible.
