About Us

Welcome to The Rotary Club of Ilminster. The Club welcomes visitors so please do contact us to find out more about the many varied things that we do to support our local community.


IIlminster St Marys Churchlminster's name is taken from the River Ile and its beautiful church, the Minster. A charming southwest Somerset town, it lies to the east of the intersection between the A303, running from London to Exeter and the A358 to Taunton (M5 J25) or to Chard and Axminster.

Our catchment area contains the hamlets of Ashill, Ashwell, Barrington, Broadway, Crock Street, Dillington, Donyatt, Dowlish Ford, Dowlish Wake, Hinton St. George, Higher Horton, Horton, Ilford, Ilton, Kingstone, Mulham, Oxenford, Peasmarsh, Puckington, Sea, Seavington, Shepton Beauchamp, Stocklinch, and Whitelackington.
