Berwick Rotary will be holding a Vintage and Classic Vehicle event on Sunday 2nd September at the Chain Bridge Honey Farm just outside of Berwick.
If any Rotarians have, or know of anyone who has a classic or vintage or interesting vehicle of any kind we would ask them to come along and take part in a super day out. There will be cars and commercials. Trucks and tractors. Scooters and (last year) steam engines.
Why is it important? This year Berwick Rotary are in the process of initiating "PROJECT X" which will be it's largest ever and if the club can bring the project to fruition will be a MAJOR life saver and life enhancing project for a LARGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE.
The whole weekend will be one of major activity - a Jazz Night on the Friday with the T J Johnson band in aid of the Brandon Ballance Appeal. A music / band event in a marquee on the Saturday night at the Honey Farm for the young at heart, and all day Sunday the Classic / Vintage vehicle event along with music: entertainment; craft stalls etc. - a great family day out.
If you would like information for bringing a vehicle along please contact Peter Ayre c/o Greaves West & Ayre, Hide Hill, Berwick-upon-Tweed or Pres. M T Richardson on 077970 701 611.
Please mark the date in your diary and come along for what promises to be a Great Day.
