Indoor Sports Night
At the Royal Oak Drimpton
Rotarians PP David Weston, IPP Malcolm French and PP Roger Pollock joined other Rotarians from several clubs in the District 1200 for the annual Indoor Sports night at the Royal Oak in Drimpton. These consist of darts, bar skittles, alley skittles and shove ha’penny. The winners were a team from District 1200 HQ. Bridport came a credible 4th out of 12 teams.
This was an opportunity to meet up with old friends and meet new ones including Iryna Odytsova, a Rotarian from the Dnipro Club in Ukraine.
The Brit Valley Rotary Club is sponsoring cataract operations in Ukraine. A raffle was held on the night, the proceeds of which will go towards this initiative.
