Halfway through the Rotary year and the outgoing President Bernard handed-over to the incoming President Malcolm, the third President of the four for this year.
Outgoing President Bernard thanked the members for their support and enthusiasm over the last three months. He welcomed Malcolm as our new President saying. 'This is his 18th year as a Rotarian during which time he has been a dedicated President, Treasurer, Committee Chair and an active and loyal member. He always gives his best so I know that he will make an excellent President!'
Incoming Pres Malcolm thanked Immediate Past President Bernard for his good work for the last three months, the third time that he had been President of our Club.
Malcolm then had the pleasure of welcoming Phil Payne as a new member of our Club. A sentiment endorsed by all our members.
Phil has 25 years of experience as a Rotarian. He first became a member in the year 2000 with the Rotary Club of Marlborough and District. He transferred to Brit Valley in 2015 and was awarded a Paul Harris fellowship in 2020.
By profession, he was an Automotive Engineer for Land Rover, Honda and BMW before moving to his final business position as Managing Director British Motor Heritage Ltd.
