With Christmas just 39 days away, trade on our first morning of selling hyacinths was brisk. The bulbs and gazebo, delivered by PP David Weston, were set up before 9.00am and within minutes half a dozen pots were sold. This is unusual but was very encouraging!
By the end of the morning 98 pots had been sold, thought to be a record for the first day of selling, and the card reader was red hot!
Several people said they wondered if we would be there this week. They were not disappointed and were were pleased to hear it. There is nothing like a bit of positive feedback at the start of the day!
Our thanks goes to PP Colin Bowditch for a very well organised and enjoyable morning.
