We are pleased to say that we will once again be selling pots of hyacinth bulbs on Saturday and Wednesday mornings in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Planted three bulbs to a pot in peat-free compost in recycled pots there is a choice of three colours; pink, white and blue at a cost of £5 per pot. All profits will go to Rotary Charities and other needy causes.
Weather permitting and until the stocks run out, the bulbs will be available as follows.
Bucky-Doo Square, Bridport on Saturday 18 and 25 November and 2 and 16 December. Also, on Wednesday 22 and 29 November and 6 December.
Morrisons Supermarket, on Saturday 9 December and possibly another date.
Beaminster Market Square on Saturday 2 and 9 December.
Burton Bradstock Post Office from late November until all the bulbs are sold.
President Chrissie Bailey, said “We would like to thank Bridport Town Council, Beaminster Town Council, Morrisons Super Market and Burton Bradstock Post Office for their help and support once again this year. We look forward to seeing some of our old customers and, hopefully a few new ones, when out selling in Bridport and Beaminster”.
