On Tuesday evening, 26^th September, members and friends of Bridport Rotary Club held a social evening, starting with a Historical Walk around the Town Centre led by Mike Gittins, a volunteer from the Bridport Museum. This was followed by a dinner/supper at the Bull Hotel.

Of great interest in the history walk, was the various businesses that occupied many of the principal town centre buildings. Who knew that the current NatWest building was originally the Post Office (see picture), that the ground floor of the Town Hall was open and occupied by a street market, notice the columns that support the remainder of the building.
