RYLA 2026: A glimpse of tomorrow: Youth talent leaves audience inspired!

At a joint meeting of the two Rotary clubs on September 22^nd, the four students from The Sir John Colfox Academy and Beaminster school gave a glowing report of their experiences having attended Storey Arms (Brecon Beacons) during August 2026.

“ RYLA brings out the best in people”

Their presentation was comprehensive and clearly well-rehearsed.

Much mention was made of the various exercises that had been encountered as well as the time spent in reflection after each event.

The presentation amplified the professionalism of the instructors at Storey Arms as well as the opportunity to make new friends.

Next, all four “graduates” are keen to take part in promoting the RYLA recruitment for the 2027 programme.

Following the presentation, a vote of thanks was proposed by President Adrian Scadding (Brit Valley) who congratulated the four speakers for a convincing account of time well spent.

Tomorrows leaders left the audience spellbound!
