4x4 Response

Fellow Club member Martin Whiting, a member of 4x4 Response, told us all about the good work of the charity mainly in the Wessex area. Some examples are shown on the pictures from Martin's presentation.
The UK charity coordinates volunteers with 4×4 vehicles to provide logistical support during adverse weather and other emergencies. Its volunteers work alongside other voluntary organisations and the emergency services when normal transport may be difficult.
It is made up largely of volunteers, it does not itself operate as a frontline response group. Instead, it acts as an umbrella organisation that facilitates, supports and assists independent local 4×4 response groups and drivers.
