Wow what a great day! The weather was super, sun and blue skies, and if anything a bit too warm and the 36 teams of youngsters from local schools provided a really entertaining day.
The tournament now a annual event hosted by Preston South Rotary, this year held separate competitions for boys and girls teams. The teams played in leagues in a round-robin format with winners and runners-up progressing to knock out stages of quarter, semi and final games. The eventual boys winners were Bishop Rawstorne and the runners-up Walton-le-Dale. The girls winners were Cardinal Allen and the runners-up Our Lady's Fulwood.
