Preston South Rotary club coordinating Shoeboxes for Ukraine
The Standish under 5s nursery have filled a number of Shoeboxes for distribution in the Ukraine. These typically include stationery, school supplies, toiletries, toys and clothes. Preston South Rotary club have coordinated the effort with the nursery.

In May the Club hosted the annual Under 12's Football Tournament for Boys and Girls at the UCLAN Sports Arena.

The Cost of Living Crisis has placed increased demands on the Salvation Army Food Crisis Centre in Preston and the Club continues to make a £100 monthly contribution.

The Club has taken the lead role in managing the Wrap Up Central Lancashire Initiative to collect warm winter coats since 2021. This continues into 2024 with the aim of organising the collection of coats from 14th Oct to 10th Nov.

It's the 30th year of holding the Club's Charity Golf Day. This year's competition was held on Sunday 13th August at the usual venue at Penwortham Golf Course. Yet again a successful day raising over £4,500.
