The Club donated £200 to the Lancashire Wild Life Trust. This donation is to purchase 5 Silky Saws for use by Volunteers to enable woodland management including coppicing. The Club previously supported the Wildlife Trust by donating to purchase young trees such as Holly to improve the understorey of the woodland.

The Club is proud to be involved in the significants works to Mere Sands to improve facilities for visitors and to encourage and sustain more wildlfe in the area.
