Supporting The Salvation Army

The Cost of Living Crisis has placed increased demands on the Salvation Army Food Crisis Centre in Preston and the Club continues to make a £100 monthly contribution.

The Club is continuing to make a monthly donation of £200 to the Food Bank , but as a special treat for Easter this year has managed get a donation of a 100 Easter Eggs from the new Tesco in Penwortham, and these have been delivered to the Salvation Army to provide some Easter Cheer in these difficult times. This follows on from Christmas when again to priovide some Cheer we donated £200 of tins of chocolates.

In April 2020 working for the Salvation Army the Club has shopped on their behalf for essential supplies to meet the increased demand for help at the Food Crisis Centre.

The information below shows how important the donations of the Club have become with the increased demands on the Food Crisis Centre and the Salvation Army.
