Again the Club has taken the lead on running the Wrap Up campaign in Central Lancashire.
In 2023 the Club managed to collect over 1150 useable warm winter coats. This was a good increase when compared to the 900 collected in 2022. The coats have been passed on to local charities to arrange their free distribution to those in need, paricularly the homeless. Other items of clothing that were donated were also passed on to charity.
We rely on the continuing support of local supermarkets, Leyland Trucks and local schools who act as donation points, and for the support of our neighbouring Rotary Clubs. Please continue to donate coats to support those in need over the coming winter.
