Wrap Up Lancashire
The Club has taken the lead role in managing the Wrap Up Central Lancashire Initiative to collect warm winter coats since 2021. This continues into 2024 with the aim of organising the collection of coats from 14th Oct to 10th Nov.
Warm Winter Coats Wanted : Wrap Up 2024
Again the Club is taking the lead on running the Wrap Up Campaign in Central Lancashire.
We start collecting Warm Winter Coats on Monday 14th October until Sunday 10th November and are looking to beat last year's total of over 1150 useable warm winter coats. So come on everyone let's get clearing out our not wanted but servicable warm coats. All the coats will be passed on to local charities to arrange their free distribution to those in need, paricularly the homeless.
We rely on the continuing support of local supermarkets, businesses and schools who act as donation points, and for the support of our neighbouring Rotary Clubs. Please continue to donate coats to support those in need over the coming winter.

It's the 30th year of holding the Club's Charity Golf Day. This year's competition was held on Sunday 13th August at the usual venue at Penwortham Golf Course. Yet again a successful day raising over £4,500.

In May the Club hosted the annual Under 12's Football Tournament for Boys and Girls at the UCLAN Sports Arena.

The Cost of Living Crisis has placed increased demands on the Salvation Army Food Crisis Centre in Preston and the Club continues to make a £100 monthly contribution.
