During the lead-up to Christmas Poulton Rotarians (aka Santa and his Elf Helpers) played their part in bringing some festive cheer to the shoppers outside of Booth’s supermarket.
Through the rain and snow, carols and seasonal songs were sung, treats were distributed to the younger residents and the sleigh provided a background for family Christmas photos.
Through the incredible generosity from the people of Poulton monies were raised to spread a little happiness to Ukrainians on the Fylde.
The Rossall School Hub provides help for a group of refugee families separated from their loved ones in the devastating conflict. Poulton Rotary President Mike Kemp presented gift vouchers, for the families, to Mrs Alina Prylipko who represented the group and the school's Fiona Quartermain.
Also handed over two chocolate hampers kindly donated by ASDA of Fleetwood for which the group were incredibly grateful.
