Charity Presentations

We have various events throughout the year that help us raise funds for various charities and worthy causes – the largest being the Santa sleigh collections prior to Christmas – this year topping £5000 .

Proceeds of the Christmas Sleigh collections were presented to different charities

The entertainment was provided by the Flat Caps a trio of local lads who were hilariously amusing. There was also a pie and peas supper

Charirties benefitting this time were Molly Rigbys old Soldiers, theSea Cadets. Padiham on Parade, Padiham Football Club , Padiham Cricket Club, Air Ambulance, Pendleside Hospice, Meals at the Methodist Church, The Samaritans, Blood Bikes and Rosemere Cancer Foundation. Still to receive are the Stroke Awareness Association  but the NSPCC cheqe has now been presented.

more More funds for the Hospice! David Foley (President) and Anthony Briggs present a cheque to the Hospice's Christina Cope. The Hospice is one of the charities benefitting from from funds raised on our Santa Sleigh.

more Padiham Rotary Club supports the Good Samaritan School in Uganda. It is a school and orphanage in Kampala which we have seen grow from a very basic building to what it is now. .

Who we support

back Every penny you give us is kept in a segregated Charity account and distributed directly to the organisations we support. Any expenses of the club are met from members' subscriptions.
