The Book Aid Collection

Millom Rotary Club have for many years been involved in a Bookaid project, under the leadership of Arthur Ferguson.
The Club organises the transport journey of millions of pounds worth of surplus (yet brand new) text books to third world countries. The photographs show a batch of books with a resale price of £300,000 setting off on their long journey to grateful children around the world.
