Club
members were delighted to welcome 3 members of the Kirkby Lonsdale Aluna
Explora Scout Group Matthew, Tamsin and Flick to talk about their trip to
Austria with their Leader Janet Bradshaw. They were so pleased to be
"adopted" by a 20 year old Austrian young woman who translated for
them. Without her help they would have struggled. They had to choose a few
activities from about 40 challenging activities. Matthew who is a drummer chose
to go busking in Saltzburg and earned 80 euros!
Over and above all the adventures and new experiences they enjoyed making new friends from all over the world will stay with them forever.
