In response to Leyland Rotary's donation, Leyland Knit, Crochet and Knatter said:
"We are incredibly grateful to have received such a generous donation. This support means so much to us, not just as a group but as a community. What started as a place to share skills has grown into something truly special: a welcoming space where friendships are formed, support is shared, and everyone is made to feel they beong.
"This donation will go directly towards purchasing yarn and materials, helping us continue what we do best. With it, we'll be able to create even more handmade items for local hospitals, hospices, charities, and community causes - reaching people at some of the most important and often challenging moments in their lives. Every single penny will be used not only to keep our group thriving, but to ensure that each item we make carries warmth, care, and kindness to those who receive it.
"Thank you for helping us continue to make a difference - one stitch at a time".
