WRAP UP CENTRAL LANCASHIRE

Mon, Sep 29th 2025 at 12:00 am- Sat, Oct 25th 2025 - 12:00 pm

From 29 September to 25 October we will be collecting serviceable, warm winter coats at Tesco Leyland, Morrisons Leyland and ASDA Clayton Green which will be distributed to charities helping people in crisis.

Wrap Up Central Lancashire is back for its 6th campaign.  Once again, this year it is as crucial as ever with the current cost of living situation and more people being unable to have what many of us consider to be the basics.

In 2024, just in Central Lancashire, we distributed over 2,000 coats to 15 local charities.  Many of those coats were given to those in need within days of the charity receiving them.

ALL SUITABLE COATS WILL BE GIVEN TO CHARITIES TO BE DISTRIBUTED TO HOMELESS SHELTERS, REFUGEE CENTRES, ORGANISATIONS SUPPORTING THE ELDERLY, WOMEN’S REFUGES, CHILDREN’S CENTRES AND OTHER CHARITIES HELPING PEOPLE IN CRISIS.

Helping those in need during the cold winter months is what Wrap Up Central Lancashire will do.

There will be over 25 collection points across Central Lancashire.  Some will be in places of employment but many will be in public places such as Tesco Leyland, Morrisons Leyland and ASDA Clayton Green.

Wrap Up Central Lancashire is a fantastic example of Rotary in the area collaborating not just with other Rotarians but with industry and the people of the area.

We need your help through the donation of warm serviceable winter coats.  So please check your wardrobes for those coats you no longer need and take them along to our collection points.

Wrap Up is Rotary in Central Lancashire working in the community for the improvement of the community.

This event operates in partnership with Hands On London who founded the initiative in 2010 and collect coats at Tube stations throughout the capital.
