Leyland Rotary is delighted to support FRIENDS OF LEYLAND STATION with the tremendous work they are doing to make our local railway station a welcoming and uplifting site for commuters and visitors to our town.
President-elect Sue went to meet some of the volunteers and to witness the work they are currently doing to install planters on the newly extended station platforms, and to be briefed on the next major project they are planning with the Rotary donation. This will help to tidy up the Bow Lane car park entrance with low-growing shrubs and perennials. The photographs show the 'before' - we will update with the 'after' once the project is completed.
