Over 5,000 visitors enjoyed the Leyland Trucks Fun Day in August whilst raising much-needed funds for three nominated charities - St Catherine's Hospice, Rosemere Cancer Foundation, and Macmillan Cancer Care.
Leyland Rotary were delighted to be involved and sponsored the 10k walk/run
John Parker, Leyland Rotary President, said "It's inspiring to see Leyland Trucks reaching out to connect with the local community and so many diverse businesses and we are extremely proud to be involved in the Linking Leyland project. Rotary's motto of 'Service Above Self' clearly fits with the ethos of bringing people together to help each other.
Representatives from Thermal Optimal Health, Leyland Rotary, St Catherine's Hospice, Leyland Trucks, Leyland DAF, and Amazon joined together at the cheque presentation in November.
